Matthias Niyonzima is doctor in Law of the K.U. Leuven. There he was assistant lecturer to Prof. Em. Jacques Herbots for many years, working in the field of Law of Contracts.
He is now a fellow researcher for the International Encyclopedia of Law, writing contributions specifically on Burundi and Rwanda Laws of Contracts. He also gives legal advice for matters relating to those countries and to other countries of the EAC (Eastern African Community).
Matthias Niyonzima is regularly invited as visiting lecturer of Business Law at the National University of Rwanda and the Sophia Antipolis University of Nice (France).
